I am recommending you print the penciled Picture Blank then cut and paste (one inch squares) from magazines like a collage. I don’t have the exact scale; so the squares might not be exactly one inch. And, if you want to do this project in paint, I suggest after opening to save it as a 16 bit color pic or possibility 24 bit color pic. The regular jpeg uses thousands of colors making it hard to fill the boxes.
