JBL Lancer 99 Vintage HI Fidelity Speakers LE14A Athena
Another task for the Lancer 99 speakers is to recone the speakers. JBL has a kit. A professional will have to install it though.

Buy a sound card. Sound cards like the ASUS Xonar DS PCI Sound Card – 7.1 Channel, are aimed mainly at music enthusiasts rather than gamers.

This card has a lot of pins for the computer’s socket. I think this card may be more versatile then a card with fewer pins. I am not a professional, that is just my gut feeling.
This is the exact speakers I grew up listening to. If the plan is for me to get my original speakers, I will have to settle for the same kind.
JBL Lancer 99 Vintage HI Fidelity Speakers LE14A Athena. These speakers need a two way crossover. This item on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/236247349294
