I finally have some traction as to my relationship with Erica Wax. I learned where Erica was mentally for our relationship that ended in 1993. She may not have been happy in our relationship, but because of her thoughts about relationships in general she stayed with me.
The relationship ended when I broke up with her. The significance is I broke up with her. See, she believes that women can hurt their boyfriend by breaking up; it just results in a broken heart. For the guy, he can’t recover. A girl on the other hand can recover from a guy breaking up with them. Women are much stronger than men, and so Erica’s rule is compatible with men’s issues. Looking back on our relationship, I don’t have a problem.
