46605 Docent

You hunted me down because you saw my painting. I know that I am not easy to find, so I want to thank you for your effort. What exactly did you see in my painting? I want to docent the painting so you will remember it as I do.

You saw the following:

  • The numbers 46605. They are the dimensions of the painting in inches.
  • Two lines and an oval in black. Most people have in their mind one line and a circle.
  • Gentle brushes.
  • Colors like what you would see if gas were a rainbow on top of water or:
  • Colors like what you would see if you looked into a diamond.
  • And with a little study there are all sorts of detail type things to see.

From recollection though this is a pretty good list to go by, nothing compares to seeing it and remembering it this way. I have gotten confident about the painting, and I am comfortable knowing that you liked it. Thank you again for your visit.

This is my best work. I have said a lot about it. I’m so proud. This great work came too early though. It blew me away it was so good. I got one. That’s good.

The original slide was taken by my Instructor for a lower division Painting Studio Class. Notice in this picture the light source is on the left making the right side look darker. This is in the photograph. In reality the shading is even.

All I can hope is that you see a beautiful picture. There is much to see.

Breathing

Why does a girl breathe? I had heard of breathing, but only knew that a girl does it to have an egg. Basically, there are just two things that happen in a women’s cycle; ovulation is the one that is overlooked. Well, I want to tell you how interesting it is to possess the power to ovulate by breathing. It’s your Philosophy.

For one, by saturating your blood with oxygen, you will be sure to feel your egg eject; you are sure you are fertile. That is just the obvious though; whether you want a baby or not. What is not so obvious is that making your egg come out by breathing saves you of some kind of trouble in that it would come out under some other rather unpleasant circumstance; I don’t know, an accident in the night with the police involved or perhaps a fist fight among men. As for myself I fathered twins when their mom ovulated the time I got my nose broken in a slam dancing pit. But wouldn’t it be nicer if the egg came under your own volition. A good woman begets no trouble. The solution is to breathe! It would make for a better Philosophy.

Now most of the thinking in terms of Philosophy happens when you are passing the egg which ends after about 18 hours. During that time you would want to practice your traditions – that’s a given. The breathing will help you hone in on your traditions without any new hazards from the get go.

To breathe you want to hyperventilate for a short time, then rest and feel your organs. It is like meditation in that resting gives you a chance to interact with the world. Keep breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth. Saturating your blood with oxygen in this way at the right time of the month is a sure way to ovulate. A girl makes a baby with come; and, the big news is that you make come by breathing.

So please care about your Philosophy. Remember that other event in your cycle – ovulation. And breathe!

After The Advance Directive

I got a receipt from Barnes & Noble. I noticed there are long numbers for items purchased. I realized that there are lots of numbers on many receipts and that numbers are pretty much everywhere. I think the advance directives are predicated using numbers in health care. After about three years with my advance directive I got to a transformational mind-set that the advance directive information could be applied elsewhere. For example, I wanted to ask the grocery store to predicate my information in a similar way as the advance directive does for health care. I believed health care was just the starting point or the beginning of my growth in a process of managing my information. After a certain amount of cognitive growth in health care, I was ready to advance to one of many possible situations.

Now, if you don’t have any thoughts about the advance directive, I would suggest reading my New Revised Advance Directive Worksheet 2026. The advance directive is the thing that girls file when they are crying. They are feeling lethargic until something gets their left brain working. For the girls that cry, the Advance Directive offers personal support and advocacy in a way that is helpful and productive.

Choosing

I know my painting is a very beautiful work of Art; however, it is time for me to bring up an issue that is not that good. What happens is the extremely beautiful girls visit me. I am a guy; and, I appreciate that very much, but I want to discourage the visits. The girls that visit choose. It is stressful for me because I want them to choose RIGHT. That doesn’t always happen. I have written a worksheet about the Advance Directive in an effort to teach people that it helps girls who are crying. Search the site for “Advance Directive,” to see what I’ve written. I really like getting visits and perhaps it would be better if you want to visit that you’ve already chosen. There is no danger to the viewer of the painting and no danger to people visiting and reading this Blog. It just has to do with me personally. I’m a chooser. That is my issue. I’m glad you are interested in my work, but maybe it would be better to celebrate the painting’s beauty at a distance. I’m really sorry because a beautiful girl has a way of making me happy.

Bail

This post is irrational in nature. If you happen to catch on to what I’m saying, you might want to, “do it.” This is about BAIL.

To do it is to satisfy something of mind. It was Rene Descartes who meditated on the Mind-Body phenomena. The Philosopher wants to be on the winning side; and so a person could be stuck with a Mind-Body problem without ever knowing that there is an outside. It is after Descartes that the notion of BAIL becomes significant; that is to satisfy mind to such an extent that there is a release to something else. Getting to the outside is a question of BAIL.

And so I want to bring to the reader this question. What is the matter of your BAIL? I even want to implore the reader to, “do it” to such an extent that bail is satisfied.

Comment: July 8, 2025: The most popular reading of Rene Descartes is “Night Watch.” Doing Night Watch causes a rash on the hands. Keep doing Night Watch every night; the rash goes away after a while. I continue to do night watch every night. It is a practice that makes me sensitive to lights. This practice is the meditations Descartes spoke of.

Dzi Bead

Seeing an eye can mean something bad is going to happen with your services; it’s a reason to try saving your service. You want your services. They help. They are your support structure.

Technical Details for 46605

I want to provide some technical details about the 46605 paint quality. An appraiser or Artist professional might be interested in this sort of writing.

There is a heavy grade canvas which came from a sail maker. It is a hundred percent white cotton like the kind used in sail making. I did not cut the canvas piece; instead I found dimensions that were similar to the canvas size; 46605 is the dimensions in inches. The stretcher bars are plywood strips and Masonite reinforced corners. There is quarter inch round molding nailed to the front of the stretcher bars that separates the flat plywood from the canvas. Genuine Gesso paint was applied as the primer.

Like a photograph, 46605 is painted in layers. The color was the first layer of paint. The colors were from Betty’s paint box: see Gevluef’s Betty’s Paint Box. They were old paints and some were dried out. My color pallet was limited to those paint tubes I could get to work from Betty’s paint box. There is no red in the painting. Since the color was the first layer, it was laid down thin with a lot of Turpentine and no Linseed oil. The first layer dried overnight. Next I applied a Dammar Varnish over the entire surface. The color layer did not bleed into the Dammar Varnish. The viewer might have noticed the Dammar Varnish as the reflective parts of the painting’s surface. This middle layer reflects light in areas where the final layer did not cover. The reason for the Varnish was because I did not want any of the color to bleed into the final layer of just shades of light and dark.

The most interesting part of the final black and white layer was the smell of the black paint. It wasn’t the typical oil paint smell. It smelled like used motor oil. These were antique oil paints. I had already been resourceful in using the dried paint tubes in the color layer. So, I was compelled to use this odd smelling black paint too. The black paint came out of the tube pretty good; dry and slightly flaky. There were flakes of metal when I thinned it with turpentine. The final layer was just with black and white paint. I started with thin paint mixed with wax medium. I used quite a lot of wax medium with both black and white paints. Mixing with wax medium gave the surface a textured matt finish. As I went over some parts with more paint I had to use some linseed oil to fatten the paint as I did not want to cut into paint that was already there. Betty’s paint box did not have any white. I used student grade Chromium White. In 1991, there was neither lead nor titanium, artists were accustomed to Chromium. I think it took three days to paint. In each session I covered the entire canvas with paint.

Husker Du

Doing a search for “Husker Du Zen Arcade” you will find someplace to get the music streamed. This Husker Du link is for the album Zen Arcade. I’m not sure if you can hear the music here. The Wikipedia page tells way more than you need to know about the album. Really, they are just talking about what it is like to have chosen left; a kind of philosophy. I have continued to be supportive for these people by writing about the advance directive. This music is good listening if you want to think about crying.

The sound of the music is really trebley. Give it a chance, the type of sound grows on you. The words are the most dramatic feature of this ground breaking album.
